The challenge

There is more AI than ever, and less clarity about what to do with it.

New tools launch every week, each promising to accelerate your business and increase your ROI. For business leaders, the hard part is knowing what the strategy for AI should be, where to start, what tools to use, and how to bring AI in across their business without creating risks, while maximising impact.

1

Cut through the noise

Learn which tools are worth your time and money, drawn from testing more than 1,000 AI products.

2

Start in the right place

Map your processes and data to find the opportunities with the biggest return for your business.

3

Adopt AI responsibly

Put governance, guardrails and risk controls in place from day one.

Business outcomes

What you'll walk away with

Every outcome is built over the two days from your own data, documents and processes, so you can put it to work as soon as you are back in the office.

90-day implementation plan

Tailored to your business, with month-by-month actions to power your AI adoption journey.

Three high-impact opportunities

Validated opportunities for your business, tested in the room.

Confidence and capability

Use AI across your business with confidence while empowering your staff with the right tools, prompts and playbooks.

Responsible AI and governance overview

An overview of responsible AI, guardrails, risk management and governance, so AI adoption is done right and done well in your business.

Business AI workspace

A Claude workspace set up with your business knowledge, ready for your team.

Expert guidance in the room

Hands-on guidance in every session, working through your own business challenges in real time while identifying opportunities where AI can maximise value.

The programme

Two days, session by session

Day 1 sets up your business AI workspace and prompt playbook, and finds your three highest-impact opportunities. Day 2 tests all three in the room, puts your risk register and AI use policy in place, and finishes with your 90-day implementation plan.

Day 1

Understand and build

What AI tools do well, where they fail, and how to use them safely. You set up your business AI workspace, build your prompt playbook, and leave with your three highest-impact opportunities shortlisted and the first one built.

Welcome and introductions

AI simplified

How large language models work without the jargon. What they do well (drafting, summarising, analysing, structuring) and where they go wrong (made-up facts, out-of-date knowledge, confident errors). ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini compared, with costs per user.

Set up your business AI workspace

Set up Claude with the right privacy settings, including switching off model training on your data. Then create a workspace for your business and load it with your services, policies, tone of voice and common questions, so every answer starts from your business context and your team can use it from day one.

The five-part brief and your prompt playbook

A structure for every request: role, context, task, format and check. Rewrite three of your own recurring tasks with it, compare results side by side, and save the prompts that work into a playbook your staff can reuse.

Safe use and the Privacy Act

What you can and cannot put into an AI tool. The Privacy Act 2020 information privacy principles in practice, client confidentiality, commercially sensitive data, and the review steps that catch errors before they reach a customer.

Working with your documents

Put a policy, report, proposal or spreadsheet to work inside your workspace: summarise it for a board, find the gaps, draft a client response from it, turn it into a checklist. Learn how to check the output against the source, and add the best prompts to your playbook.

2:30

Find your three high-impact opportunities

Map where your week and your team's week actually goes. Score recurring tasks for value, effort and risk, then shortlist the three opportunities that will save the most time or money, use data you can safely share, and can be live within 90 days.

Build your first opportunity

Build your top opportunity end to end in your workspace, with your facilitator alongside you. Common choices: proposal and quote drafting, meeting notes to actions, customer email replies, monthly reporting commentary, job descriptions and onboarding packs.

Day 2

Test, govern and plan

Test all three opportunities on real cases, put your risk register and AI use policy in place, plan how your team will adopt AI, and finish with your 90-day implementation plan.

Welcome back and Day 1 recap

9:15

Test your first two opportunities

Run your first two opportunities on recent real cases from your own data. Compare time taken, quality and errors against how the work is done today, get feedback from your facilitator and the room, and add the human checkpoint that catches anything AI gets wrong.

Build and test your third opportunity

Build your third opportunity, ideally a different kind of work from the first two, such as analysing data in one and drafting client communication in another. Test it on real cases so all three leave the room validated.

Your data and documents
11:30

Building your AI risk register

Identify the risks in how your business uses AI: privacy breaches, inaccurate outputs, bias, intellectual property and supplier risk. Rate each one for likelihood and impact, and agree the control and owner.

Governance and your AI use policy

Decide who approves new tools, how data is classified, where sign-off is required, and how AI use is disclosed to clients. Draft your policy against the Privacy Act 2020, then set the measures that will show whether AI is paying off.

Bringing your team with you

How to give your staff the workspace, prompt playbook and confidence to use AI well: naming champions, short practice sessions, sharing wins, and handling the worry that AI will replace jobs. Includes a 60-minute first team session you can run next week.

Your 90-day implementation plan

Turn your three opportunities into a month-by-month plan. Month one: set up and pilot. Month two: roll out to the team. Month three: review results and expand. Each step gets an owner, a budget line and a measure.

Questions

Before you book

I am not technical. Will I keep up?

Yes. The programme is designed to meet you where you are, whether you have a technical background or not. AI is simplified throughout, and facilitators work alongside you in every hands-on session.

Which AI tools will we use?

We will mainly use Claude, and we will also look at ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools. Please set up a free Claude account before you come to the session.

Is it safe to use my own business documents?

We recommend preparing examples that do not contain any personal, business or commercially sensitive information. When we set up your tools on Day 1, the model training option in Claude is switched off, and we cover what to remove before uploading your data.

What should I bring?

Examples of your own documents, with personal and sensitive details removed.

Can two people from the same business attend?

Yes. You have the option to attend by yourself or with multiple people from your team or organisation. Each person needs their own place in the workshop.

Is the cost tax deductible?

Training that maintains or improves skills used in your current business is generally tax deductible. Check your own situation with your accountant.

Do you cover AI strategy?

We look at your business at a high level during the session, and AI strategy deep dive sessions are available separately.

What if I want to train multiple cohorts from our organisation?

Yes. We are happy to work with you to understand your business needs and offer capability building for your organisation.
